Choose the edge before choosing the white
The best trim for White Down depends on the fixed whites and the amount of contrast you want. Compare a close boundary with a clearer outline before selecting a named white. White Down has more color depth than Ivory White, useful when a very light cream fails to frame warm stone.
Limestone's broad background should guide the white choice; isolated veins and small linen samples can otherwise distract from the permanent surface.
